What Is Wakand Inu?

You may not know this, but Wakanda Inu is actually a meme coin. But it has promised to be more than just a regular memcoin. As mentioned in its whitepaper, Wakanda Inu plans to do this by releasing several products such as non-fungible tokens (NFTs), farming, decentralised exchanges etc.

According to its whitepaper, Wakanda Inu is a community meme project forged from society’s deep and warm consciousness. Well, that definitely caught my attention. When I dug deeper, I found that it is a community-driven crypto project that represents the everyday struggles and aspirations of the best parts of what it means to be truly alive as a community.

Wakanda Inu was launched on the 7th of November 2021 and is held by over 113,000 people, which is actually the highest number of holders in any African Cryptocurrency project. Truly amazing.

The name “Wakanda” is derived from the famous Marvel Comic Movie, Black Panther. Awesome movie, but why did they name the crypto project after it? This made it seem a bit shady to me, but when I got to know more about it, It caught my interest.
