Is This Dude Really The Inventor of Bitcoin? šŸ¤”

I really missed giving you guys hot crypto gist and stories. So, today I’ll be telling you all about Craig Wright, a man who claimed to be the mysterious inventor of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto.

The inventor of Bitcoin has remained a mystery for years, and everyone only knows him by the name ā€œSatoshi Nakamotoā€, we don’t even know if that’s a real name. But in December 2015, it appeared like we were close to cracking the mystery as two publications WiredĀ andĀ GizmodoĀ suggested that Wright may have been the inventor.

Apparently, many proofs backed up the claim, and Wright also did not dispute it. Hmmm.

Hours afterĀ Wired published their allegations, Wright’s home in Gordon, New South Wales and associated business premises in Ryde, New South Wales were raided by the Australian Federal Police. According to the AFP, the raid was part of an Australian Tax Office investigation.

Despite still claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto, much of the crypto community and media believe these claims are bogus.

Although Wright may not be Satoshi, it is clear that he was a big Bitcoin supporter and was able to accumulate a significant amount of it early on. As of today, he is being described as a lawyer, banker, economist, pastor, coder, investor, mathematician, statistician, and “world-curious.”

Why did he claim to be the inventor of Bitcoin? Personally, I feel it’s the case of theĀ main-character syndrome. I too can come out and claim to be Beyonce’s long-lost sibling, e no go bad.
